The 'Tong Chong Street Market Beer Festival' will make its debut at the Taikoo Place Island East Centre on the 37th floor, transforming the public space of the office building into a unique event venue. mhp boasts a distinctive skyline with a 180-degree panoramic view, overlooking Victoria Harbour, the urban landscape of Island East, and the lush mountain ranges of Braemar Hill. Guests can enjoy unlimited craft beers and special popular dishes within a 3-hour time frame, paired with mouth-watering mhp restaurant delights. mhp's first major event takes craft beer and food culture to new heights
This year's 'Tong Chong Street Market Beer Festival' features a selection of locally brewed beers covering various categories, in collaboration with eight local breweries, including the first-time partner, Young Master Brewery. One of the highlights is 'GREEN LIGHT', a limited-edition craft beer specially crafted for this year's Beer Festival in collaboration with mhp. Brewed with melon and hops, it has a sweet and smooth taste, wishing everyone green lights all the way and paying tribute to the resilient and progressive spirit of Hong Kongers while cheering on all the hardworking people in the city.
Another highlight of the event is the exclusive release of the 12-Year Wild Sour Beer by Young Master Brewery, crafted to celebrate its 12th anniversary and specially introduced at this year's Beer Festival in a limited-edition format. Guests will have the opportunity to savour this limited-edition beer, experiencing the brewery's innovative spirit and pursuit of unique flavours.
The Beer Festival will showcase a range of playful beer flavours crafted by the participating breweries, including:
- 'Cha Chaan Teng Sour', a unique blend of Berlin-style sour wheat beer and German-style sour wheat beer, offering a distinct sweet and sour taste with a rich mouthfeel.
- The award-winning Hong Kong craft beer '852', bursting with tropical flavours, pairs perfectly with light dishes such as salads and seafood.
